Next steps

Many of you have asked, "What's next?" after the Crazy Campaign. I've also had people comment that it must be a relief to know that we've raised all the money we need. Here's reality--our relocation project + our community blessing + our Africa commitment will = around 9 million dollars.

We've netted 3.3 million in pledges. That leaves us 5.7 million or so.

Next steps: We'll try to firm up a buyer for our current facility (hoping to get 3 million for it). We'll be meeting with our denomination's financial guru on Dec. 1 to get a handle on how much we can "afford" to borrow. Lastly, we'll try to encourage those who have yet to make a pledge to join the crazy ones who have already sacrificed.

While all the above is happening, we'll be selecting an architect in the next 10 days.

We've only just begun!! What we'll continue to do in the meantime is BE THE HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS. We will stay on mission--we won't take our eyes off what Crossroads is all about--not building buildings but building up followers of Christ.

Looking forward to turkey tomorrow...and hearing from you.

Crazy Campaign update

The vote is in...Crossroads Church is certifiably crazy! 385 people pledged over 3.3 million dollars, over and above their normal giving. Wow. This is a God-thing...don't blame me for your craziness...God's been moving and tugging at people's hearts.

This is the start of something big. We've taken a step of faith as a church that I know God is pleased with and God will bless.

Join us this weekend for a special time of Thanksgiving & Praise!!

If you get a chance, let me know what God's doing in your heart these days....Blog on...
