Some quick announcements...

Thanks, everyone, for making Easter '07 a smashing success. We had a well-mobilized army of volunteers who made things happen. Many of you invited and brought friends. The numbers are still being tallied, but the response was overwhelming. We had over 1,000 guests join us at Park High School. Many took a step of faith and made a commitment to follow the Risen Christ.

This weekend 2 big things are happening:
At our main services we're launching a new parenting series called "Kid Stuff". This weekend we'll talk about what's on a parent's Job Description.

At Sanctuary (our Sunday evening service at 6 pm), Rabbi Ed Rothman will be our guest. Rabbi Ed is a Messianic Jewish Rabbi (he believes that Jesus is the Messiah). He will enlighten us about the Jewish roots of our faith and answer questions regarding Judaism. If you're not "into" the parenting series, give Sanctuary a try. You're also welcome to go to Sanctuary even if you go to the main services!

That's it for now.

Easter Sunday ROCKED! I'm so glad we could help in a small way. Thanks for putting in the effort, the time, the prayers and the money. I met a few people while directing traffic who were visiting for the first time, and saw a few of them leaving and their responses were great.

Easter Sunday Pros: Uplifting worship. Bass guitar rumbling the lower spine. Loved the choir. Jordan's terrific solo. Inspiring message. Skiing Vertigo. Nice decor - that was a gym? Friendly greeters. Butterfly Brad. The kind of service you love to share with unbelievers because they'll hear God's truth delivered with passion and creative zeal. Wonderful, wonderful.

Easter Sunday Cons: Next time, do something about the climate - I don't like wearing a coat on Easter.

P.S. There is so much talent at Crossroads that everyone can't participate at Easter, so thank you to the gifted ones who humbly let others be in the spotlight.

belle_south, we're already working on the climate for next Easter (global warming). Should be nicer. Thanks to all (including Chris) for your kind words. We had a blast.
