Forward Movement

In case you haven't heard, our water issue has been resolved with our new property! We're going to bring water in (via a tanker truck) and store it in a large holding tank. This water then will be pumped into our building and service our water needs. Note that this is a temporary solution until city water from Woodbury makes its way to our land (2-3 years).

Originally we were going to pay to bring water up from Cottage Grove and then when water was available from Woodbury we'd have to pay for it too. In essence, we were going to be double paying for water. This BandAid solution will save us a boatload of money in the long run.

Our next step is finish our design phase and submit it to the city. Our hope is that we'll be breaking ground this summer and moving into our new "box" late summer of '08.

We're excited--not so much for a new building--but for a greater opportunity to impact lives in our region. Our "business" is changed lives not building buildings. Buildings are simply tools, yet we're thankful that a bigger building is now on our horizon! Thought you'd want to know...

There was an nice article in the Woodbury Bulletin yesterday mentioning the building is for sale and the "band-aid" solution. Sounds like a good plan. Will continue to pray that all goes as smoothly as possible. Thanks for the updates!

I'll volunteer to drive the truck!

I'm looking forward to the 40 days of prayer.
