A Great Weekend at Crossroads
Wow. It was "one of those weekends". First, the Community Carnival was awesome. To see a couple of thousand people having a blast on our grounds was pretty neat. It was THE party of the summer. Thanks to the dozens of volunteers who made it all flow so smoothly (Wendy, your team is incredible). Everyone had a blast...everyone was blown away by the fact that everything was free! Crazy, huh. Pray that our hospitality will draw many back to Crossroads.
Second, the Missions Week was inspiring. It's great to be part of a church that has a heart for the world. Thanks to Rick and his team for their coordination.
Weekends like this make me glad I'm part of the Crossroads community.

I hope the Community Carnival can work at the new church location...?
Rick, we'll make it work! We'll have double the parking lot...more games, floats, food, fun. I'm looking forward to it.
